CWA Local 1181

Communications Workers of America Local 1181 Associate Traffic Enforcement Supervisors represents approximately 400 active members and 350 retirees, including New York City Department of Sanitation retired supervisors. Our members hold the official title of Associate Traffic Enforcement Agent I, II, and III.
 

Our Supervisors work out of offices known as Command Stations, supervising more than 2,500 Traffic Enforcement Agents in New York City. There are 16 offices housing 23 commands that work under the authority of the New York City Police Department Transportation Bureau. Each Command Station is overseen by a Commanding Officer and an Executive Officer.
